Philter is our absolute favorite coffee shop! My wife and I love trying new cafes and no where comes close to Philter. The coffee is perfect time and time again. The food is always delicious. The staff have been lovely on every visit. We love this place!

Phenomenal breakfast sandwiches, some of the best weve ever had. Flavors like sweet daikon take them over the top. We frequent philter often for both breakfast and coffees. From pour over to a dessert latte, they make everything very well.

Excellent espresso. They use Ceremony Destroyer beans, a Simonelli grinder and a La Marzocca machine. The barista really knows his coffee and pours a nice heart. We had our lattes in ceramic cups and took time to sit and enjoy in the warm vibe. This is as good as it gets!

Adorable local coffee shop, I love the greenery and the vibes were really nice. Perfect to chill and work for a bit. The food smelled really good but I didn't get any so I can't comment on it. I will say that I find that a lavender latte is a great way to judge a coffee shop; many places overdo the lavender or it tastes really artificial, or too sweet. Philter nailed it- The perfect floral coffee. We'll definitely be back to try the breakfast sandwiches and to sketch a little more in their community sketchbook (such a cute idea!)

Very nice coffee shop in Kennett Square that also sells premium tea. Makes a great stop before you go to Longwood gardens.

Great place to get excellent espresso and draw a mouse (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠). Highly recommend for a local place that will make you feel right at home. And most important... the latte was excellent. Breakfast sandwich great with added herbs. I also bought some artisan chocolate Soma which is YUM (Old school rough ground).

I highly recommend this local gem! It has a wonderful vibe and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff provides excellent service with a personal touch that reflects a true sense of community. It’s the perfect place to hang out with friends and enjoy delicious coffee and sandwiches.

What a wonderful little cafe!!! We came in with a family of 10, service was great - all given from a lovely lady at the register. Coffee was fresh, kids were occupied by books offered by the cafe and parents were full off of pastries. This cafe brought everything we needed for our little tour of the town!

Nice coffee shop with nice variety of food and drink selections and comfortable varied seating options. Great reuse of vintage and industrial materials to create a fun decor including plants and a variety of items for sale throughout. The food is good and the sourdough breakfast sandwhich was tasty. Service was quick and staff were friendly and helpful. Small seating area of tables and chairs on the sidewalk out front.
